Since its launch in March 2009, the website has gone on to become one of the most respected and popular showcases, seeing up to 10,000 daily unique visitors and has since been further developed to include a Directory of the individuals and agencies behind the featured sites.

Collaborating with Mister, we were responsible for the design of the site and front-end development.

Futurising

Futurising was a 2 day creative industries festival organised by the LCC, that invited young graduates from an array of creative courses to explore the opportunities available to them within industry.

They approached YCN to develop the branding for the festival, which was to be translated to the website that sat as the central repository of event information, including event details, workshops, features, and sponsor information.

Working with designers at YCN, Kulör was responsible for the information architecture and development of the website, which is powered by ExpressionEngine.

YCN is a unique creative agency that represents the finest illustration and moving-image design talent; and produces design, content, campaigns and other communication in all media for varied clients.

The website was developed on the ExpressionEngine platform, and comprises of 4 separate, but tightly integrated, websites to handle each of the different aspects of the organisation: the agency, the shop and library, Ideas Illustrated, and the annual awards programme.

The site features a rich combination of Flash and HTML/CSS, all built upon the ExpressionEngine platform to provide a quirky, immersive user experience.

We also helped to develop the website's shop, integrating with a third party e-commerce provider.
